Hello, Vista View Ridge neighbors.  I have become the next HOA president, following the commendable work Ken Maurer provided.  This note is just to provide a bit of personal background and share the three core and achievable goals of our 90 home neighbors.

First, I am Peter Loeb, beloved husband of Laura Lanka.  We have two kids, 53 and 55 years old, and four grandkids.  We have lived happily on East Bartlett Court for about 14 years, moving there from Sequim, Washington where I served as a firefighter/EMT.  Prior to that, I spent most of my career in High Tek and retired from an enjoyable career at IBM.  Earlier on, I was Dean of Admissions at Lewis and Clark College.   My education was at Yale and Trinity College with honors for each degree.

Now to what I consider most important.  My role is to lead our HOA and reinforce the three core values for our community: 1) SAFETY, 2) FRIENDLINESS, AND 3) HOME VALUE STABILITY.  I hope we keep these values active as we live through each day.  From the almost daily walks Laura (Daisie) and I take, we often encounter several of you and enjoy the smiles and pleasant greetings.  We also appreciate how nicely most of you have kept your homes and property.

Keeping Vista View Ridge thriving, we should always try to stick to these core values.  I believe doing so can make us all more confident during these spinning times.  And the “spinning times” was not meant to condemn anybody.  It was mostly to say this HOA can, especially with your membership and participation, help keep home life level and calm.

So, I am happy to visit each/all of you if that helps you tell me what our HOA can do better to serve you.  Periodically, I will communicate with you.  Doing so can help us all stay up to date on HOA issues, special events, and budget stability.
